Hi Bill,
If the concern over the aluminum brackets becomes too burdensome, just  
send them south with the rotors where the excess salt is used to cure  
bacon.
Your problem with the nice rotor/hat combination is that there is no  
substitute bracket.  The offset of the steel adapters for RS2 or  
knockoff brackets  matches the A8 anchors you are dumping.  I don't  
know what the stoptech hat offset is, but they use aluminum brackets  
also.

ECS is selling an aftermarket 993tt rotor that is heretofore unheard  
of in Porsche parts.  It saves a few bucks.
