[s-cars] On the road again

These days we hear a lot about S-cars getting retired and parted out - well
here's one that's pushing back.

 

After an extended hiatus in the garage on jackstands collecting dust, my
silver One Lap of America veteran 95.5 S6 is (finally) back together, legal,
and sprinting about the countryside at the steady hand of my son, Jack.
Interestingly it's become somewhat of a time-capsule car, since it hasn't
turned a wheel in what was it, 8 years?  Looks great, drives great - it's
way nicer than my now-looks-like-a-beater S6 Avant.  He's a happy guy, and
so am I.

 

Likely I won't be able to make it to SFest this year (my other son Nik is
still tearing up the tracks in his quarter midget, which consumes every
Saturday), but hopefully Gen2 Jack will be able to make it.

 

Thanks to all the listers who helped to push this up the hill, especially
Chris Hawkins, who was a go-to guy.
