I have a little el-cheapo brand CB with all the works in the mike
unit which just feeds a magnetic mounted (and therefore imminently
removable) antenna. The radio itself doesn't need to be mounted
anywhere inside the car, just let in lay in your lap and it works
perfectly and it is removed easily from the car. All that is needed
is to be able to hear things like - "there's a full-grown bear
sittin' in the 'medium' at the 47 yardstick". This is convenient to
know as you near the 47 mile marker post. ;-)
