I have the "GoreTex" like lightweight outdoor cover that Taka talks about
(it's pretty amazing, water really just beads up and runs off, and it really
does breathe, rarely is there condensate under it and it's gone really
quickly) that I got for what amounts to a steal from another lister quite a
few years ago. Normally it's quite expensive. And for the moment, it's water
repellancy is going to waste since it's doing the job of Taka's Dustop in my
garage. The nice thing about having an outdoor ready cover IS the fact that
it can do double duty. The bad thing about the cover (as I recall, it's
Covercraft's WeatherShield) is that it's so thin that it does nothing
against contact., but since it's my garage it works for me. I did have a
Covercraft Evolution 3 cover for my old 200. Good at contact issues, okay
against rain (it does seep through) but surprisingly weak at stopping dust.
Even if you found one used, I'd pass. Go Dustop or either grade of
Weathershield.
