[s-cars] Poll: Who's using a 1.8T coil conversion

I bought Chris' harness from him and continued the trend of dead coils (4 more in 13months I think).
Was running well for the last 8 months, (all 1.8t coils), but 2 weeks ago #5 went completely dead. I bought a 2.0t coil to replace it locally, so now I've got 4-1.8t coils and 1-2.0t. Working fine at the moment again.

Used Apikol's 1.8T kit and went throuogh 4 coils in 6 months.
Built my own harness and am using Delphi D585 (GM not Chinese copies) and have
been acoil happy for ~45,000 miles.

I have the Apikol loom and started with 5 brand new 1.8T coils. Prior to the
switch I had an annoying random hiccup under load (light or heavy) that I cannot
reproduce at idle and that is still present. Car is stock save for a Stromung
exhaust. I have replaced plugs, FPR, iggy switch. My question is how many of you
are running the Apikol or home made loom with updated coils with success, and
which coils are you using (V8, 2.0T, other?)
