I have had the Apikol loom in place now for 2.5 years and 25000kms. I have
four 06B 905 115R coils and one new coil 06A 905 115D - the dealer does not
sell the R versions anymore. I also keep a spare in the trunk, just in case.
The new coils have a tighter fit on the spark plug.

I don't believe I've had a coil go. A hi boost issue I had was either a
spark plug or two, or a rip in the turbo hose.

I have the Apikol loom and started with 5 brand new 1.8T coils.  Prior to
the switch I had an annoying random hiccup under load (light or heavy) that
I cannot reproduce at idle and that is still present. Car is stock save for
a Stromung exhaust. I have replaced plugs, FPR, iggy switch. My question is
how many of you are running the Apikol or home made loom with updated coils
with success, and which coils are you using (V8, 2.0T, other?)
