I just went through this myself (knee version) and it was "what cars only
come in automatic, which I would normally never consider buying?"

Audi S8 and Mercedes E55 were high on my list.  In the end, I decided that
renting a car would end up costing less, so that's why I did.
It might be a good time to get a DSG-equipped car, the recent recall may
have caused some slight negative impact on resale.
Used car sales are pretty depressed anyway, so there's lots to choose from.
