[s-cars] timing belt service issues

All,
Have the same problem on my 95.5 S6 A. Had to replace radiator due to
another "event" and found the fan mounted to the viscous clutch
exhibiting too much play and hitting the radiator fins at higher
RPM's. I simply unbolted the fan and sourced a used bracket and
clutch from another lister. That assembly is still sitting on the
shelf waiting for the time when I want to tear into the front of the
engine again.
I live in a cold climate part of the country and have had no problem
running without the fan. Depending on where you live, that option
might tide you over.
