[s-cars] Racing jack

Are you sure that the HF jack won't go under an Audi? I'd be pretty
surprised unless you have a
racecar-type ride height.

It won't go under my Corvette or under my (now defunct) Miata, but shouldn't
have an issue lifting at the pinch weld lift point. I have a jack adapter
for the pinch weld, reduces the chance that you bend or otherwise screw up
the jacking point.

Newer cars that don't have the exposed weld and require jacking pucks (like
newer BMWs and C5/C6 Corvettes) won't work with this type of jack. I have a
2" height low-profile jack that I bought from Costco (of all places) a year
or so ago and it works great- the only thing is that it's made of heavy
steel and must weigh at least 100 lbs.- it was really really heavy getting
it into the car from the store!
