Late to this thread, but I also have one of the ballistic lowering 80+lb floor jacks.
I also picked up a pretty nice Arcan 3 ton aluminium floor jack last year from Costco.
I has two side carrying handles, dual pistons for raising/lowering, and is much more substantially built than the HF jacks.
Of course it weighs more, around 50lbs...
