[s-cars] Need one Dunlop

Larry,

Agreed!

I not only autocross them but if I were at a DE in the rain, I'd
be running them on the track.

I'm doing my best to wear out an old set of Dunlop R compound
tires so I can mount my new G-Force slicks. The Direzza will see
less autocross time...although on Saturday with iffy weather, I
mounted and then unmounted the old Dunlops before I took a run.
Probably should have left them on...the course was damp but not
really wet and the Direzzas didn't heat up at all.

In any event, a new tire was $160 + shaving from TireRack. My
local guy said the following: "2 years ago you paid $210 per tire
for the Direzzas. Prices have gone up and now they're $220."

Oh really? Consumer commodity pricing going up? And they couldn't
shave them for me. Doh. (and this is the *good* shop in Boston).
