I will second James' recommendation. Britax does make a 5 point seat but
it's super heavy. Used to be called the Husky, now it's something else.
Try lugging that bad boy through an airport (I have).
My son is 3.5 and still fits just fine in his Marathon. I will get him a
new one once his head nears the top of the seat.
At that point, Britax and Recaro are the two brands I would consider.
One interesting factoid I read online - the US Britax are completely
different from the euro Britax, but Recaro is Recaro.
The reason this is important is that euro car seats undergo much more
extensive and difficult tests, compared to the US.
If this is true, might sway me in the way of Recaro.
And finally I agree with Bob - when we was youngunz, we's didn have no cah
seats!
Mandatory Scar content - why are all the urS6 cars GREEN?!? Yeah, I know
why, just saying...
