[s-cars] It's all about the seats.

Bill,

I would check the following:

1. ISV (Idle speed control), it can get gummed up and cause issues, can be cleaned with carb/fuel injector cleaner.

2. If she is running stock coils the ground to the valve cover, if she has the Apikol set this shouldn't be an issue,

3. MAF sensor, inspect and see if it's damaged or dirty

4. MAF sensor cable/connector if the contacts get dirty it can send wacky signals to the ECU, only know problem I've experienced was
causing the ECU to sense a false over boost; but it's worth checking and cleaning with electrical contact cleaner. However when the ECU
senses an over boost situation the fuel is cut off and it is like the car shuts off for a microsecond.

5. CPS connector, pull the fuel rail cover and at the front of the engine is the connector for the CPS, due to age and heat the plastic
portion of the plug on the CPS side can disintegrate and cause all sorts of drivability issues. When I disconnected mine it literally fell apart in my hands.
If hers is bad you can grab a connector off of a knock sensor on most euro cars, FYI if you replace the connector you will be using the shielding
as the 3rd conductor.

6. Fuel pump relay - If you have a spare you might try swapping it out, could be it is failing and causing intermittent loss of fuel pressure.

7. Fuel pump - How old is it, perhaps the pump is beginning to die; mine never gave any warning and simply decided to die at a random intersection.

If I can think of anything else I'll post it

HTH
Chris

Coils have been ruled out w/new Apikol 2.0 set.  Plugs

I thought too, to swap or clean I think it's the G4 sensor on the

The only other thing I think it might be is a defective knock

And that's the way it is.
Any suggestions possible to try

(best seat ever?)
