[s-cars] high pressure power steering hose

I did the rubber band trick to hold the washers in place. Also, after messing with it for too long, I put the entire hose in the oven on warm for 10 or 15 mins. This softened the hose a bit and made it much easier to bend and align the banjos and get the threads started.
I recommend doing this when the wife is away. Car parts in the oven can trigger some angst. Ask me how I know.....and I'm the chef in the house.

Subject: [s-cars] high pressure power steering hose
I am hoping that someone could give me some guidance on how to get the high
pressure hose back on as I am having problems getting the banjo bolt that
connects the hose to the steering rack to screw back in. It came out easily
but I cannot get it to thread back in and it is in a very difficult location
to manipulate. Any advice would be appreciated as my car is now stuck unless
I can get this line back on.
