Subject: [s-cars] ITW, Devcon, Permatex

In looking to repair my sunroof control panel with an adhesive, it was
suggested to use a brand named "Devcon" Plastic Welder. Well, here in
eastern Penn, that proves difficult. In doing some further research, it
appears that ITW, who owns Devcon has since acquired Permatex, who has since
added a Plastic Welder two part adhesive to their product line.
 
Both made in America (Illinois in fact) and quite likely the same product.
I've used permatex products for years so this is fine by me.
 
Just wanted to share what I found. Hopefully the repair holds up..
literally.

The car you mention Erik is, in my estimation, a much better choice compared
to the V6, especially if it has a clutch. My friend just found one and good
for him, they are a good find.
