Jim, depending on where you take the car, some shops will have the kit I
have and not need to remove the strut assembly. I f they do remove the whole
assembly to do the task on a press, even if they make paint marks and are
meticulous, you will likely not have the same alignment.

Requesting a particular brand be used would be more acceptable to the
servicer than providing the bearings yourself. Pretty sure I used FAG
bearings for mine or maybe Ruville/SKF..
