Yeah, that's why I figured I'd have to swap EVERYTHING. The '93 stuff looks OK, but that car has a bunch of miles, so I'd hate to go through all that work only to find out it's got a bad evaporator, or the hoses are now leaking because I stressed them, or etc.

I'm being told by the A/C guy that the old receiver/dryer puked the dessicant, so the condenser and orifice tube are clogged. I would think there would be a way to just flush out the condenser, but I'm pretty ignorant of A/C stuff. The condenser on the car appears to be a Valeo that was probably put on by the PO when it was converted to R134a.
