[s-cars] dent in G4 crankshaft position sensor

The timing pin appears to still be in place on the flywheel... I can see it
go by while my wife turns the key. (I was hoping it might stop by the
sensor opening, but I'd probably have to pull the plugs and turn it over by
hand.)

Whew! I was getting worried that a foreign object sufficient to cause a
dent in the crankshaft position sensor might have also dislodged the pin!
And welding it back in place through the starter opening is a little beyond
my ability!*

So I guess I'll order a G4 crankshaft position sensor ("ignition timing
sender") and see if that does the trick.

'95 urS6 why does it always break in winter?

*I could take a welding class, buy a welder, upgrade thee power to my
garage, and then practice for a few weeks before attempting it on the car...
but is there even enough room down there to do this as an in-car repair?
