[s-cars] Clutch slave dilemma

thanks for all the replies folks! Still need to know how to change the slave ON
THE CAR.
I did check the clutch pedal master cylinder. Lived through that dilemma once
already with the S6 avant. His car is fine.
We know Lance well but he is 75 miles away. Thanks for the Eurowise tip.
I figured once he had the clutch pedal pushed in and fluid was dripping steadily
out of the bell housing, I had the slave nailed. All else is well except how to
talk him through changing it himself on the car, in the street no less.
Glad the GOF's had a good time also, pleasure is all mine! We'll do it again!

I'd strongly recommend changing out the master at the same time- they've been
using the same fluid, and have the same wear. There have been multiple incidents
of the master failing shortly after the slave if not replaced.
