Having done the same thing...ONCE......did you pull the coil pack/spark
plug cover off the top of engine. You can fill the spark plug area with water.
Misfires, etc. Take it off , dry it out, and usually fixes the problem. That old
oring type gasket on the cover loses its seal after a while.

Hi guys. I am back on the list again after a very long hiatus.
Came back to Denver Friday from Glenwood Springs in my 95.5 urS6 Avant
in? a? very heavy snow, long slog, slow drive. I decided to wash the extensive
magchloride encrusted ice
off the car immediately. Engine was turned off.?In an?afterthought, ?I opened
the hood and sprayed the engine compartment
as well, using only water.? Got into the car and the girl would not start. :^(
Pushed started it and drove it home.? Two days later, I try to start it and
it?will not crank.
I charged the battery (not the problem) and checked every fuse. Still no go.?
Checked the
ignition packs on the engine firewall, nothing obvious there either.? Nuts!
What or where should I be looking?? Thanks a bazillion!
