[s-cars] Off topic - New Volvo S60 ?

Looks like they discontinued the 3.2, you're right, I guess it's a reaction
to all of the mileage improvement programs that everyone else is doing.

S4 starts at $46,600 + dest., pretty cheap for a lot of car.

The lease special for the Volvo was and excellent deal, but I'd go with the
S4 if you're going to buy a car in that price range.

If you can find a low equipment S4, that would be the way to go for a buy-
the Haldex AWD systems in the Volvo are truly terrible. I hate the system in
my V70R, hate it more every time we get a lot of snow. No matter the
reaction time, a system that goes from 100F to some other torque split
really changes how the car feels under power, which I don't like. The
quattros I've driven never do this, although I have not driven any iteration
of the latest 40F/60R setup.

I wish they made an S4 Avant- I'd look for a B8 S4 Avant as a lease return
preowned, that would be a great car for reasonable money.
