[s-cars] ZF transmission filling

Cody I used an old coolant tank off an Audi. I connected a hose to the
lower fitting, then ran it to a section of metal fuel line with a hook in it
to put in the tranny. Then I ran a short section of hose to the vent line.
I put a hose nipple on my blow gun for my air compressor, hooked it up to
this short vent line, and turned the regulator way down. It took about 15
seconds to get a quart into the tranny. I had my wife there to remove the
cap and refill so I could keep an eye on the filler hole. When it started
to bubble out I just jerked the blow gun off and it stopped flowing. I used
one of the $10 USB to OBD cables and the freeware version of VAG-COM to read
the temperature.

If I did it again I would have used clear tubing up to the tranny so I could
see what was going on better.
