Heh-heh, that's the same exact technology behind my pressure bleeder... in
fact looks almost exactly the same, minus the end, which is a rubber cap &
hose clamp for pressure bleeding vs. the neat pipe & valve setup here.
Per Eric's suggestion I fitted a schrader valve to the tank too so I don't
really use the hand pump to pressure bleed, I pressurize it w/ compressor
once in a while.
"Fill until overflows" is a common PITA OEM instruction procedure on all
kinds of diffs/trannies/crankcases/etc on cars/boats/motorcycles and even
without the complication of the standpipe this solution would be a handy
deal to have around. Might have to make one as a mate to the bleeder...
