That was exactly my case. No vapor. It was fire across the gap from 4 to
5, pinging at idle w/no load, etc, etc...the key question though is root
cause. That will probably be different in each case depending on level
of molestation. Mine was heartily molested in its previous life.

that's the normal tell tale HG sign but if Dave says the AAN can blow

the tailpipe etc. which are the "classic" tell-tale symptoms.
