I've had several POS failures, but no coil problems yet. Just so you know, that loss of power under boost IS due to a miss--not really any other effect a POS could have. I guess the power from the other cylinders just compensates for the missing one. 

Easy to check for POS vs coil. When the car is idling rough, pull the electrical connectors from the injectors one by one. The one that doesn't make it run even worse is the problem cylinder. Then, swap both connectors on both POS units, and again do the injector check when you have the rough idle. If it's the same cylinder, it's something downstream of the POS. If it's a new cylinder, time to rewire the POS to use the spare channel.
