How do i check to see if the coil pack is failing? and good sources for a new coil pack?

Darren,
When you turn the key to the ON position, does the "Check Engine"
light illuminate? If not, the fuse at the ECU is probably blown.
This is commonly caused by a coil pack failing and shorting to ground.
Replace the failed coil pack and the fuse and all will be well again.

So....
My car has not been able to start for over a week.
It is a 95 s6 avant with 177,XXX miles.
The car was running fine but turned off when i came to a stop (I did
not stall it, i was driving on the interstate for about 2 hours and
went down an off ramp, and at the bottom it just turned off and
wouldnt restart)
This is what i have come up with...
Car cranks but wont start
Timing belt is ok
New ignition switch
Fuel pump works when jumped, its not the fuel pump relay
Still no power at pin 37 from ecu.
My mechanic thinks that my ecu might not be working. does anyone know
where i can get my ecu tested?
Any sure signs of ecu failure?
Also, if anyone has a known working ecu that i could borrow to see if
the ecu is the culprit. Hopefully someone close to Stowe, VT...
