You may also find that many XC's are minus a prop shaft for some problem 
with the rear diff or the propshaft itself. My brother-in-law bought one so 
that he wouldn't be stuck in his driveway when it snows without having it 
looked at (:facepalm:) and a few weeks later I had it on a lift and noticed 
the propshaft was AWOL. The dealer he bought it from pretty much laughed and 
hung up the phone when he called them to fix it.
