[s-cars] POR-15 solvents?

Fred & others - thanks for inputs - I found some other refs confirming lacquer thinner and phosphoric acid etching so that seems to be the ticket. I suffer from a die hard skepticism about special sauce solvents and cleaners but for sure I agree if I was thinning to spray I'd prob use their real solvent. Just for cleanup I'm not really going to worry about if the pro-grade auto body lacquer thinner I have isn't exactly the right level of purity or whatever.
