Hi Y'all,

My son's 2001 Mercedes SLK320's stereo has started acting up.  His 
description sounds to me like something heating up and shutting down 
then cooling some and firing up again and so on.  Well, anyway he is 
looking for a recommendation of a decent quality replacement head 
unit for his radio/cd/stereo unit.  He wants something which would be 
an upgrade from OEM stuff without going nuts on expense.  He would 
like to include GPS capability if it can be done while maintaining a 
harmonious appearance in the dash.

Any suggestions?
