just find comps online of modded S4s. they should up the price. find all the receipts for repairs and mods.


if they become real jerks, start racking up medical bills and get a lawyer.

Good luck buying it back.  I had the exact similar situation, rear ended
left rear frame rail damage, but at the time (3-4 years ago) the insurance
adjuster couldn't find any com parables for sale (95.5) in their "system"
but based their buyback # on 2 parts cars they had in their "system" that
were over $5K each.  I tried to get them to total it for the $7K they were
offering and let me buy it back for cheap but they said they couldn't let
me buy it back for less than $5K.  So for the $2K difference I didn't want
a car with a salvage title and a $4K repair job.

I ended up making them repair it, cost $4600.
