Sorry to hear of the mishap, Nathan, but pleased you are keeping the
car. Good luck with the negotiations. There are vehicles for sale on
the marketplace as well as several listed in the forum on
quattroworld.com that were observed on craiglist and kiiji? in
Canada. You should find plenty of comparables that show the value
much above the posted offer.
There was some recent activity on QW about the "official" Audi numbers
for these cars imported to NA, but I think they are extremely low and
obviously incorrect. There has to be anecdotal evidence if not
documentation of about 1000 salvage and parts cars to subtract from
the original numbers. I think Jimmy Pribble's original numbers are
still the best guess we have. It looks very "official" also.
