[s-cars] Climate control gone wild

Sounds interesting, Keith. : )

The knowledge base has been under construction for a couple of years,
and I
wouldn't hold any hope for it. Most of the effort has gone into the
FAQ section
on the quattroworld.com forum for these vehicles. You should find the
diagnostic
section there to guide you through reading the codes on the climate
control head.

Some of your flaps may be getting balky, but it really sounds like the
climate control
head is causing the problems. If that turns out to be the case, there
has been a
company in Rogersville, TN advertising repairs on ebay in case you
can't find a
used replacement in the marketplace. Describing your problems on the
QW forum might
get more help also.
