[s-cars] urS4 trunk won't open...

The key cylinder is probably gunked up with hardened white grease and
dirt that splashes up on the rear of the car and some additional
moisture causes it to freeze as well. It won't get better so you are
living on borrowed time. The remote selenoid should be able to handle
things for a while, but it is your last option. The repair will mean
removing the lock cylinder and cleaning all the junk out and
lubricating it. Until then, maybe removing the inside cover if the
opportunity presents itself will allow access to the mechanism from
inside to release the lid if the remote lock fails.

If you are wanting to search for help on a particular topic, (i.e.,
the trunk lock failure), then checking the FAQ on the UrS cars forum
at quattroworld. com or using the search function there would probably
provide the best results.
