[s-cars] urS4 trunk won't open; how to search s-cars archives?

yes, I feel pretty lame; but at least I can get into the trunk! I had assumed this button didn’t work. Typical Audi to include a feature that is common on every car, then throw a curve ball with the key must be on trick!

 

At least now I can wait until the warmer weather before doing the detailed repair.

p.s. Once opened via the button in the glove box, the trunk functioned normally for the rest of the day. Then...

Did you try the trunk release in the glove box? Car has to have key turned to on IIRC.
