Your insights into the A3 are good. I believe that there is an S3 quattro
available in Europe, so add that your rant about the fckwits at Audi not
giving us Yankees what we'd really like to have. LOL!
I'm not sure if the FWD would turn me off. It's a return to my first Audi, a
5000 (C2 platform) that I had years ago. Loved that car.
By the way, my original post had a typo, I'm looking for manual tranny S4
avants in the B5 platform (not C4). But you guys are smart and probably
figured that out.
While I'm getting feedback, I'm seeing a few nice B7 S4 avants out there as
well. Anyone want to chime in on those. I live at altitude and like the
ability to easily tune a turbocharged car, but maybe should also be
considering the B7 platform?
