[s-cars] Non S-car start problem

It could also be that the positive cable from the battery has corrosion creeping up it, causing low voltage whenever there is a high current flow, as when cranking. I had this problem years ago, and the corrosion was about 6 inches up the cable, and it wasn't obvious by inspection. I spliced in a new section, and all was well.
