Regarding whether to buy your Fuel Pump from Audi or aftermarket, I had
noticed a significant weight difference when upon removing the original FP
from my 93 S4...at 200K miles. That and the minor connection issues caused
me to pay the difference and get the FP from Audi (discounted of course),
return the OEM Bosch pump to Autohauz. No complaint against Autohauz, they
are great providers. And I really didn't have any reason to suspect a lesser
pump except by their relative weights. They are all rated at adequate
pressure but I was concerned about adequate pressure at hi flow rates.
