After getting my '92 S4 rear-ended and totaled (State Farm gave me $5,200 + tax & licensing & then I bought it back for $800, originally they offered $2,900 so I supplied local comps), last month I bought a '95 S6 from a Toyota Dealer in Portland, OR. The salesperson told me they couldn't give me the stack of maintenance records due to privacy laws but told me it was serviced at the local Audi dealer Carrera Motors. I called Carrera & they told me the same privacy b.s., but I told them it is now the Toyota dealer's car so they called them for permission and then gave me the service print out.
The salesperson liked dealing with me and forgot the maintenance records in the trunk. ;)
I am keeping my '92 S4 springs, etc... and still deciding what to do with the car, but I'm looking for a pearl boot lid if anybody has one?
