what you need is a 14mm X 1.5  tap    this will do a better job than just a
thread chaser    may or may not find this at a FLAPS, more likely at a tool or
hardware store,  works best with a special lubricant but oil or grease will
suffice....will work best with a 't' driver but can be done with wrench....no
big deal

Subject: [s-cars] Stripped wheel bolt

Folks,

One of the wheel bolt holes on the rear hub of my '01 A4 is ruining the threads
on wheel bolts.

Can I use a tool to chase and clean the threads on the hub or am I looking at an
R&R?

Can someone give me a pointer to the appropriate tool? I don't want to head over
to my FLAPS and get something that doesn't have the correct threading.

Much appreciated!

Lee
