Jim,

The Fuel Pump access cover is located between the third row seats and the second row seats. You can either pull up the carpet from the back of the fold down second row seats or from the carpet that dives down under the third row seats (that's where I have accessed it). You may need to remove a couple of fasteners for the 3rd row seat belts to get the looped holes in the carpet out (when you see it you will know). The access panel is the black circular thing in the photos you've probably seen already.

Good Luck.

>First off, where is the pump on the avant? Figured I'd pinpoint it before I started taking up carpet haphazardly. My car has the third row seat if that matters.

>I replaced the fuel filter a couple months ago....it is recommended to replace the filter when replacing the pump. Do I really need to at this point since it was replaced so recently? (It would take me out of the game today unfortunately.)
