DaveF and I have differing views on this, I think he's laughably moronic
to go in via the 3rd row. He thinks I'm so stupid as to be a hazard to
myself and others for wanting to go in from the 'front' (aka climb in a
rear door with the seats folded, remove the (5?) semi-hidden screws that
hold the carpet to the back of the seats, then take out the cargo loop
on either side. But srsly both work fine.
Either way once the carpet is up it's all just as you see in most online
pics except Avant is way significantly better than the
crawl-in-and-suffocate sedan access. I of course I do keep both doors
open as well as the hatch to keep good fresh air flowing through, and
that way not as much cigarette smoke gets in my eyes as much while I'm
working.
