[s-cars] S6 Avant tailgate swap

Guys 

My 95.5.urS6 Avant pearl white tailgate was a mess, rusting and electrics were acting up. So last weekend I bought a very 

nice '97 A6 pearl white tailgate.  Besides being really heavy, IMHO doing this swap is going to be b*tch.  

How does one remove the emblems?  The A6 center four rings are gold, they have go..   The wiring harness 

are identical but I have to cut the A6 side wire harness just to remove it from the donor car.  Anybody been here 

before?  Do you have some tips or links to point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance!
