Thanks Steve.
034 recommended something called RTV - I guess some kind of liquid gasket
which I'll apply before installing.

A bought a car that the PO had installed the 034 silicone hose kit. Despite
spending a lot of time, aggravation, and money replacing all the clamps per
034's recommendation, they still leaked.
I gave up and bought stock hoses. YMMV.
While you're in there, I'd replace the plastic bits that are prone to
failure. In no particular order:
- Thermostat housing
- Heater control valve (under the cowl cover)
- Coolant "Tee" (behind motor)
- Heater hose outlet on the back of the block.

With summer on its way out and winter in the big white north soon
approaching, I decided that its probably wise to change the coolant hoses.
The car is a daily driver and I wouldn't want a hose to let go on my
commute.
So I picked up the hose kit from 034. I also decided to replace heater core
and thermostat whilst I've got the coolant all out.
Question: what else should I change out whilst I've got it all apart?'
Any BTDT with the 034 hose kit?
Thanks,
Tony
