[s-cars] S6 Avant Window issue

1995 S6 Avant

Window was operated and my wife said she heard some really bad noises.

Now window will not roll all the way up, leaves about a 1/2 " gap at the top. Rolls down fine.

Took the door apart and the cable looked like it was in the right place.
Guides all looked good. Nothing seems to be impeding the window from going up/down.

Thought there might be a gear in the motor that may have skipped a tooth or two?

Is there a remedy?
