[s-cars] Door Latch Repair or Replace?

Hi Jack,

You can see the attachment point for this rod on illustration 870-00, just
next to item 16 (the clip). I have the same problem. The rod that I have
floating around has a broken metal piece still attached with the clip still
plugged in to it. A cylinder mechanism from a parted car may not last as it
is as old or older than your own - I'm in same position. So I'm seriously
considering the new cylinder part number 4A0 837 063 D from stealer - mine
is charging me $211 for the part.

Good luck,
Tony

I have an S6 that the rod from the interior door release to the door
mechanism at the rear end of the door has disconnected, I'll be damned if I
can even feel anything inside the front or sides of the mech that feels like
a rod would attach to??

I've seen the EKTA that shows the rod going forward, but not the attachment
points where the rod attaches. Anybody have any advice??
