Here is a link to the Quattroworld.com FAQ listing on the UrS4/UrS6/S2/
RS2 forum. It is accessed by opening the engine bay icon and clicking
on the serpentine belt link.

Notice that the ETKA illustration shows the viscous fan adapter is the
same part for the entire list of UrS vehicles. I don't see how it is
possible to thread it on some vehicles one way and others reverse
thread. : )
I have 5 UrS6 viscous fans on my block that are all removed by turning
the nut to the left. The build dates run from 10/94 to 12/95. I use
the 32MM Audi special tools wrench with a 1/2" breaker bar fitted in
the extension hole in the end. I have the pin holder for the pulley,
but I just whack the bar with a 2# hammer to impact it loose. YMMV.
If it is difficult, I suggest using both tools. I would not recommend
starting this job with some makeshift inadequate tools.
I have no personal experience with the UrS4 viscous fan removal.
I can not reconcile the conflicting information, some of which is from
respected professionals.
