Hey Tede and Lee
I think the best buy in these cars are the C6 A6 3.0Ts. They did have a facelift in 2009 along with the new 3.0T/Supercharged motor but only have the 6 speed auto box. I found an ultra low mile '09 for a friend and bought my wife another very low mile '11. The only issue was the sport suspension being too stiff for her but that should be sorted shortly as we're swapping with another standard suspension car and adding the dual sway bar kit from H&R. The color combo of Aventurine Blue and the Full tan interior are NLA which really motivated my wife. I did get rid of the heavy 19" rims/tires and now have 18" lighter weight wheels. We saved 10lbs per wheel/tire for a total of 40lbs of unsprung weight. She absolutely loves this car and the CPO and Audi Care benefits put us way out for mechanical issues. Besides, I will be chipping this thing when those run out. Here's a link to some photos of her car:

The dual clutch transmission works really well, with nary a harsh shift or hesitation, but if I could swap it for a manual and delete the fancy MMI and save $10k, I'd have done it. The torque vectoring is magic and goes a long way toward reducing understeer. I had the chance to drive an S6 and S7 at an Audi Driving Experience at Sears Point, and they do surprisingly well for big heavy luxury sedans. They really need better rubber, though. I wasn't too impressed with the Pirelli P Zeros, and 255 is relatively skinny for a 4300 lb performance sedan. S6 is also a little underdamped (and the S7 was marginally worse), but the tires were definitely the weak point.
