most likely the pump motor , unplug the connector and test power and ground with 
a test light to confirm...the fact that the wiper motor activates tells you that 
the problem is not in the steering column.....hth.............m

Dear list,
I have a non-functioning windshield washer motor. When I actuate the wash 
feature on the control stalk, the wipers actuate for a few cycles, like they 
should, but the washer pump doesn't pump (and makes no sound). The Bentley 
wiring diagrams are not terribly straight forward, so I thought I would ask the 
group memory if they ever had the same problem, and what the resolution was. It 
could just be a bad pump motor, but it's not the easiest to get to, or it could 
be a broken wire on the steering column, or a variety of relays. If anyone has a 
history of this, please contact me.
