Hi Mike;
When this happened on my UrS4, the pump had seized. I replaced it, but if I
recall correctly I was able to rebuild the old pump. From what I remember
you have to remove the reservoir to access the pump.

Subject: [s-cars] Electrical issue
Dear list,
I have a non-functioning windshield washer motor. When I actuate the wash
feature on the control stalk, the wipers actuate for a few cycles, like they
should, but the washer pump doesn't pump (and makes no sound). The Bentley
wiring diagrams are not terribly straight forward, so I thought I would ask
the group memory if they ever had the same problem, and what the resolution
was. It could just be a bad pump motor, but it's not the easiest to get to,
or it could be a broken wire on the steering column, or a variety of relays.
If anyone has a history of this, please contact me.
Thanks,
Mike Wakefield
