[s-cars] Light bulb out warning

I have a very annoying problem with the auto check system and I thought I would check and see if anyone has experience with this problem. My upside down light bulb with an X through it for taillight/headlight failure illuminates and chimes as much as 10 times a minute. I have checked and cleaned all the contacts reseated all the bulbs. I verified right off that there was never a bulb out. Additionally when you use the autocheck manually it shows everything is OK. So where should I look now? Is the autocheck in the IC? Is it part of the Climate control OBD? Most importantly where is the chime and can it be easily disabled?
